Are you still on track for a healthy 2012? Here are some of the goals and challenges we put to you at the beginning of the year. How are you doing?

•    Start working towards a normal weight

  1. avoid fizzy drinks unless sugar-free
  2. eat smaller portions of everything
  3. take a healthy, interesting lunch to work
  4. don’t skip breakfast (see below for recipe)

•    Stop smoking – get whatever help you need to do this
•    Swop one cup of coffee a day for a glass of water
•    Limit alcohol consumption to one glass of wine daily
•    Get a complete medical and dental check-up.
•    Inform yourself on any medical condition you may have.
•    Update your first aid kit, discard expired medicine.
•    Floss your teeth every day.
•    Exercise moderately 30 minutes daily, 3 times a week.
•    Learn something new – a language, or how to use a com¬puter/ play chess/design a dress
•    Find a new, fun hobby – something you have always wanted to do.
•    Sleep at least 6-7 hours a night.
